Involvement of key actors
We are convinced that the best solutions emerge when all of the key people are actively involved in the innovation process. We all have the capacity to innovate, and with the right environment and incentives, innovation can thrive. In addition, bringing in doctors, nurses, therapists, researchers and other personnel strengthens the innovation process. Together, all these factors create the basis for far-reaching, sustainable transformation.
This is why we develop tangible solutions on site with our clients. The needs and experiences of the interprofessional and interdisciplinary service providers are continuously incorporated. This results in better solutions in several innovation cycles (iterations).
The implementation in daily work takes place on site. We coach the teams during the implementation process and build up the internal competences in parallel.

Long-term support
After the development of new solutions and their implementation into everyday life, we guide an internal team in how to do internal coaching. Within the framework of full day on site coaching, we work with the design to check the implementation and make adjustments if necessary. The aim of this phase is to stabilise the newly developed system of solutions. In addition, the design team learns how to apply our methods and instruments independently in the future.
Developing and testing ideas
In this phase we use the methods and tools of Design Thinking. Based on the needs of the patients and staff, new ideas ("prototypes") are developed and continuously tested in workshops over several days. Typically, 15-25 prototypes are developed in a project. Most of the prototypes are closely linked to each other, creating a system of individual elements. They require and reinforce each other. The prototypes are tested and further developed by caregivers and with patients. The joint development creates a high level of identification with the contents and thus supports the change process.
Implementing Solutions
This phase ensures that the system of prototypes is suitable for everyday use. In a first step, a so-called "stress test" is carried out: over the course of one day, as many prototypes as possible are tested in everyday life. This yields valuable insights into the impact and level of preparedness of the prototypes. In addition, the design team gets to know the coaching methodology. After an intensive training phase, the "go-live" phase takes place. During this phase, we work with the design team to implement the system of prototypes into everyday work.
Long term support
We guide the design team on how to coach their colleagues. Within the framework of full-day on site coaching, we evaluate the implementation of the prototypes with the design team and adjust them if necessary. The aim of this phase is to stabilise the newly developed system. In addition, the design team gains the confidence to apply the jointly used methods and instruments independently in the future.
